As a test prep professional with over 10 years of experience helping students master the SAT and ACT, I bring unique personal and professional insight to my work. My background producing educational television, editing magazines, and studying language and literature gives me an eclectic and distinctive skill set.  My experience as the parent of a recent college graduate, a current college student, and a high school senior helps me understand the emotions, challenges, and pressures the college application process brings for both students and their parents.

This combination of professional expertise and personal perspective shapes how I support my students. I use a variety of resources such as instructional videos, a gamified website called Grammarchops, and the official College Board question bank to help them confidently and effectively tackle each test question type.. To optimize our time together and their at-home practice, I track and chart each student’s progress across subject categories and use the data to target areas for improvement. 

While my primary goal is to help students achieve their best test scores, the reading comprehension, writing, and analytic skills they develop will help them excel throughout their academic careers and beyond.
